⚡ Trouble with Prepaid Electricity?Expired

A user was having trouble buying prepaid electricity. Other users confirmed that the system for purchasing electricity is offline due to a problem. One user said that on the Capitec app it says "we are currently experiencing difficulty validating your meter number". One user is in KwaZulu-Natal and another is in Brakpan, Gauteng. One user reported that it is working. FNB and Thyme bank are also reportedly having issues. The prepaid electricity system is down due to a fiber break, and technicians are working to resolve the issue. The system is expected to be back online by Saturday morning.
