[ONE BEHIND BARS FOR ALLEGEDLY BEING IN POSSESSION OF DRUGS] A 35-year-old foreigner is in police custody after allegedly being in possession of drugs. Bloemfontein K-9 members acted on information about possible drugs at a certain flat in Fichardt Park in Bloemfontein on Friday, 4 September 2026, at about 10:00. Upon seeing the description of the possible suspect, police went to the given address. Police searched the premises and confiscated 41 packets of Cat, ten (10) packets of Crystal Meth and six (6) Mandrax tablets. A 35-year-old male was apprehended for alleged possession of drugs with an estimated street value of R 19 720, 00. Cash amounting to R 2 500, 00 was also confiscated.
