Motivated Dugong: [EIGHT SUSPECTS TO APPEAR IN COURT FOR FIREARM AND DRUG-RELATED OFFENCES] Members of #OperationLockdown3 confiscated an unlicensed firearm and an assortment of drugs during operations over the weekend. The team conducted operations in Ravensmead, Elsies River, Bellville South, Heideveld, Lentegeur, Manenberg and Bonteheuwel. A total of 197 sachets of crystal meth, 127 mandrax tablets, 28 heroin straws, five packets of heroin, 16 sachets of cocaine, a .38 Special revolver and an undisclosed amount of cash were seized during the operations. Additionally, eight suspects between the ages of 18 and 71 were arrested for possession of drugs, dealing in drugs and possession of an unlicensed firearm.
