PUBLIC NOTICE: ELECTRICITY OUTAGE AFFECTING THE CITY OF NEWCASTLE The Newcastle Municipality hereby informs residents of an electricity outage currently affecting various parts of the city, including the area around the old Pick n Pay and the main municipal building. The Electrical Services team has been deployed to the site and is actively attending to the fault. Restoration efforts are underway, and supply is expected to be restored shortly. Residents are advised to switch off and unplug all electrical appliances and sensitive equipment as a precaution against possible surges when power is restored.
