Fibre internet has been down since 8:30 PM last night for some users. Openserve reports a cable was damaged 1.84km from Kloof. A contractor is onsite digging to expose the cables. Another user in Klooflands reports their fibre just went down. Users confirm the internet is still down. Openserve reports the outage is due to theft and repair is in progress. For some users the issue is now sorted, but others in Alamein Avenue, Kloof are still without internet. One user on Klooflands Road is still without internet. Another user is still without fibre. Klooflands Road is still without power. Krantzview Road has street lights. Afrihost seems to be working.
