PAYMENT SCAM ALERT 🚨🚨🚨 #emfuleni #scamalert ELM has received a voice-note of scammers contacting residents, pretending to be from the municipality and demanding immediate payments to avoid disconnection of services. Please note: The municipality will NEVER call or message you demanding urgent payment over the phone. We always follow strict procedures. - Always pay into the official municipal bank account only. - Never make payments into personal or unknown accounts. - If in doubt, contact our official Customer Care Centre directly.
