A concern has recently been brought to our attention involving a neighboring property that received a municipal water account of approximately R100,000 despite reportedly not making use of municipal water services. We are seeking information from residents who may have experienced any of the following: Unexpectedly high water or electricity bills. Charges for services not being used. Incorrect meter readings. Difficulties obtaining corrections or explanations for municipal accounts. If you have experienced similar issues, please share your experience, including: The nature of the billing problem. The amount involved (if you are comfortable sharing). Whether the matter was resolved and how.
