REPORTED ROBBED FORD MUSTANG FOUND ABANDONED - IN THE DAVEYTON AREA The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Intervention Unit Officers, recovered a reported hijacked/robbed motor vehicle, in the Daveyton area. Officers received an intel from a reliable source, regarding a red Ford Mustang that was reported hijacked with a Hiedelburg case number, parked along Springs Road. Members responded swiftly to the scene and recovered the sought vehicle, found abandoned. The recovered vehicle, was subsequently towed to the Aeroton Vehicle Pound for safekeeping. No arrests have been made at this stage, and investigations are ongoing.
