🚨 COMMUNITY CRIME ALERT – VOSLOORUS EXTENSION 2 🚨 Criminals are once again targeting residential homes in Vosloorus. Last night, an attempted house break-in occurred in Extension 2, Vosloorus. The suspects abandoned their initial target after realising that the occupants had detected their presence. They then moved to a neighbouring house, where they successfully gained entry after bypassing the property's security measures. Once inside, the suspects held the entire family hostage, tying them up before ransacking the home. They stole jewellery, cellphones, Smart TVs, a refrigerator, and other valuable household items. The victims were also forced to unlock their banking APPs, allowing the suspects to transfer funds from their accounts. The criminals further demanded the keys to the household safe and stole everything that was inside. Although the suspects concealed their faces, they were captured on CCTV footage. We appeal to members of the community to carefully examine the clothing and other visible features of the suspects, any information, no matter how small, could assist in identifying those responsible and ultimately lead to their arrest. This incident serves as a reminder that our safety depends on all of us working together. We encourage residents to look out for one another, remain vigilant, report suspicious activity immediately, and strengthen neighbourhood communication.
